Zakat Distribution Project – Muftian, Jhelum

Location: Muftian, Dina, Tehsil & District Jhelum, Pakistan

Background

Since 2021, Ibrahim Trust has continued its commitment to supporting vulnerable individuals and families through the distribution of zakat in Muftian, Jhelum, Pakistan.

Many families in the area face financial hardship and struggle to meet essential needs, including food, clothing, education and healthcare. For widows, elderly individuals and low-income households, even covering everyday expenses can be a significant challenge.

The Need

Financial assistance was needed to help those experiencing hardship meet their basic needs and maintain a reasonable standard of living. Zakat provides an important means of supporting eligible individuals and families, helping to ease financial pressures and bring relief during difficult times.

Our Contribution

Recognising this need, Ibrahim Trust established an ongoing zakat distribution initiative in Muftian in 2021.

Through this project, cash zakat donations are distributed directly to eligible individuals and families in need. Working closely with trusted local contacts, the Trust identifies deserving recipients and ensures that zakat reaches those who are most in need.

The initiative is supported through the generosity of donors, with a continued focus on responsible and transparent distribution in accordance with the principles of zakat.

The Outcome

Alhamdulillah, since 2021, this initiative has benefited many hundreds of people in the local community.

The financial assistance has helped individuals and families manage essential household expenses, purchase food, support their children’s needs and cope with everyday living costs with greater dignity.

By providing direct financial support, Ibrahim Trust continues to help ease hardship, strengthen vulnerable households and bring hope to those facing difficult circumstances.

Through the ongoing generosity of donors, this project continues to make a meaningful difference to the lives of people in Muftian. May Allah accept the zakat of all those who have contributed and reward them abundantly. Ameen.
