Ibrahim Trust is guided by the following principles:

  1. Recognising Safeguarding Concerns

Safeguarding concerns may include:

  • Physical abuse
  • Emotional or psychological abuse
  • Neglect
  • Exploitation
  • Financial abuse
  • Harassment or discrimination

Anyone working with Ibrahim Trust must remain vigilant and report concerns immediately.

  1. Reporting Concerns

If a safeguarding concern arises, it should be reported as soon as possible to Ibrahim Trust’s management or trustees.

Reports should include:

  • The nature of the concern
  • Details of individuals involved
  • Date, time, and location
  • Any immediate risks

Where appropriate, concerns may be reported to relevant authorities.

Safeguarding concerns will be handled with sensitivity and confidentiality. Information will only be shared where necessary to protect individuals and comply with legal obligations.
