Qur’an and Juz Distribution – Karantaba Village

Background

For the children of Karantaba Village, the madrasah is an important place of learning, where they come together to study the Holy Qur’an and deepen their understanding of Islam. Many of these young students aspire to become Huffaz, dedicating themselves to memorising the words of Allah. However, limited learning resources had made this journey more challenging, with children often having to share copies of the Qur’an and individual Juz during their lessons.

The Need

Access to the Holy Qur’an and individual Juz is essential for children to develop their recitation, practise independently and progress with their memorisation. The madrasah needed additional copies so that every child could follow lessons more effectively and continue their learning both in class and at home.

Our Contribution

Ibrahim Trust supported the distribution of new copies of the Holy Qur’an and selected Juz to the children and madrasah in Karantaba Village, providing essential learning resources to support their Islamic education.

The Outcome

The new Qur’ans and Juz have helped create a more supportive learning environment. Children can now follow lessons using their own copies, practise their recitation independently and revise their memorisation at home.

Teachers are also better equipped to deliver lessons, helping students develop their knowledge, confidence and understanding of the Holy Qur’an.

These resources represent more than books; they are an investment in the children’s Islamic education and the future of the wider community. Every lesson, every verse recited and every step towards memorisation provides an opportunity for lasting benefit.
