Qur’an Distribution – Karantaba Village

Location: Karantaba Village

Background

For the children of Karantaba Village, learning the Holy Qur’an is an important part of growing in faith and developing a lifelong connection with Islam. At the local madrasah, children gather each day to learn, recite and memorise the words of Allah. However, limited access to learning materials meant that many students had to share copies of the Qur’an, making it difficult to practise independently and continue their studies at home.

The Need

Every child should have the opportunity to learn from their own copy of the Holy Qur’an. The shortage of Qur’ans at the madrasah restricted students’ ability to follow lessons, practise their recitation and revise independently. Additional copies were needed to support their Islamic education both inside and outside the classroom.

Our Contribution

Ibrahim Trust supported the distribution of new copies of the Holy Qur’an to children in Karantaba Village, providing students with their own books to support their learning and spiritual development.

The Outcome

The distribution has given children greater access to the Holy Qur’an and the opportunity to take a more active role in their studies. With their own copies, students can now follow lessons more easily, practise their recitation and revise at home, helping them develop confidence and consistency in their learning.

These Qur’ans will continue to support the children’s Islamic education, nurturing their understanding of the faith and helping them build a lasting connection with the words of Allah.

We are sincerely grateful to our donors whose generosity made this initiative possible. May Allah reward them abundantly and make every letter recited, every verse memorised and every lesson learned a source of ongoing reward and Sadaqah Jariyah. Ameen.
