Qur’an Distribution – Kani Kunda Village

Background

For the children of Kani Kunda Village, learning the Holy Qur’an is the beginning of a lifelong journey of faith and spiritual growth. At a young age, students gather to learn, recite and memorise the words of Allah, with many aspiring to become Huffaz of the Holy Qur’an. However, access to essential learning resources can be limited, making it important to provide children with the materials they need to progress in their studies.

The Need

Learning and memorising the Holy Qur’an requires regular practice, consistency and dedication. Having access to a personal copy allows children to follow lessons more easily, practise independently and continue their studies at home. Additional copies were needed to support the students and help them develop their recitation and memorisation with greater confidence.

Our Contribution

Ibrahim Trust supported the distribution of new copies of the Holy Qur’an to children in Kani Kunda Village, providing essential learning resources to help them continue their Islamic education and memorisation.

The Outcome

The distribution has given children access to their own copies of the Holy Qur’an, helping them take a more active role in their learning. Students can now follow lessons more easily, practise their recitation regularly and revise independently, both in the madrasah and at home.

These resources will continue to support their journey of memorisation, helping young learners develop their knowledge, strengthen their faith and work towards their aspiration of becoming Huffaz of the Holy Qur’an.

More than simply providing books, this initiative represents an investment in the spiritual development of the next generation, giving children the opportunity to build a lasting relationship with the words of Allah and carry their knowledge forward into future generations.
