Zakat Distribution – Dina, Pakistan – since 2021
Zakat Distribution Project – Muftian, Jhelum Location: Muftian, Dina, Tehsil & District Jhelum, Pakistan Background Since 2021, Ibrahim Trust has…

Location: Village Musa Kar, Union Council Mandhrna, Tehsil & District Dera Ismail Khan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan
For families living in Village Musa Kar, access to a reliable water supply had long been a daily challenge. Residents often had to travel to distant sources or depend on supplies that were not always readily available.
With 33 families living in the village, water was essential for everyday needs, including drinking, cooking, washing and maintaining good hygiene. The lack of a nearby and dependable water source made these basic activities more difficult and time-consuming.
A reliable source of water was needed to make daily life easier for local families and provide a sustainable solution to the village’s water challenges. A community well would give residents convenient access to water closer to home, reducing the time and effort spent travelling to collect it.
Recognising this need, Ibrahim Trust supported the construction of a community well in Village Musa Kar.
Work involved identifying a suitable location that would be accessible to local families and digging to reach an underground water source that could serve the wider community.
The project was successfully completed in November 2022, providing the village with a shared water source for its families.
Alhamdulillah, the completed well now provides a dependable source of water for 33 families living in Village Musa Kar.
Families can collect water much closer to their homes, making everyday activities such as drinking, cooking and maintaining household hygiene easier and more manageable. Children, parents and elderly residents all benefit from having access to this essential resource nearby.
What was once a daily challenge has become easier, with the well providing a shared resource that supports the health, hygiene and wellbeing of the wider community.
Through the generosity of donors, the families of Village Musa Kar now have access to a reliable water source that will continue to benefit the community for years to come. May Allah reward everyone who contributed and make this project a source of ongoing Sadaqah Jariyah. Ameen.
